The Head of the Ibru Organisation, Olorogun Michael Ibru, has died at the age of 86.
Ibru, the Otota of Agbarha-Otor kingdom, died in the United States on Tuesday, according to family sources.
Born in 1930, Ibru, who started his career as a management trainee with UAC, founded the Ibru Organisation, a conglomerate with interests in brewing, fishing and palm oil production, among others in the 50s.
His death comes less than seven months after that of his younger brother, Felix, the first democratically elected Governor of Delta State.
