ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NEMBERS DECRY CRISIS...SEE WHY
Members of the Assemblies of God Church, on Tuesday, took to the streets of Nsukka in Enugu State to protest against the leadership crisis in the church.
A supremacy tussle between Dr. Chidi Okoroafor and Dr. Paul Emeka over the office of the
General Superintendent has divided the church into factions.
The dispute, which has resulted in some violent clashes, has also led to litigation.
Members of the Nsukka District of the church, through their protest, called for an end to the hostilities.
Led by the District Superintendent, Nsukka District, Rev. Livinus Agaba, they appealed for peace, and condemned the protracted leadership crisis.
Marching through the streets of Nsukka, the aggrieved Assemblies of God members demanded peace from the leaders of the church.
