Leicester City are in advanced talks to sign Genk star Wilfred Ndidi, ESPN reports.
The Premier League champions are desperate to bolster their squad in the January transfer window after a disappointing defence to their title and they have lined up a deal for Ndidi.
Ndidi is regarded as one of the best young players in Europe after impressing at Genk during the past 18 months.
However, Leicester are planning to steal a march on their Premier League rivals by setting up a deal for Ndidi when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 19-year-old, who can play in defence or central midfield, has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham.
Genk are reluctant to lose Ndidi in January, but Leicester are prepared to pay €20 million (£17million) to convince them to cash in on the Nigerian international.
