PDP crisis: Ogun suspends Buruji Kashamu, others
Peoples democratic party, the Ogun State has , suspended Sen. Buruji Kashamu, senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District and six others over allegations of financial improprieties and anti-party activities.

The six others are Mr. Bayo Dayo, Mr. Pegba Otemolu, Mr. Semiu Shodipo, Mr Fatai Adeyanju, Mr. Segun Seriki, Hon. Daisi Akitan and Hon. Bowale Solaja.
Meanwhile Daily Trust earlier reported that the crisis rocking the Osun State chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party has deepened sequel to the Supreme Court judgement that favoured Mr Eyitayo Jegede as governorship candidate of PDP in Ondo state.
At a congress held at the secretariat of the party at Ogo-Oluwa area in Osogbo, the state capital, the PDP faction led by Dr Bayo Faforiji expelled the four chieftains of the party for alleged anti-party activities.
Those expelled include the Chairman of the other faction, Mr Soji Adagunodo, former PDP National Secretary, Professor Wale Oladipo, former State Chairman, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa and former State Secretary, Prince Bola Ajao.
Faforiji said a disciplinary committee was set up by the party to investigate the involvement of Adagunodo and Ajao in the controversial litigation between Mr Jimoh Buraimoh and Eyitayo Jegede on PDP governorship ticket in Ondo.
He explained that Adagunodo and Ajao were parties in the suit against Jegede and that their action was not in the interest of PDP. He accused Oladipo and Olaoluwa of working with Senator Alimadu Sheriff to scuttle the chances of PDP in the future election.
In his reaction, Adagunodo said the purported explosion by Faforiji faction was a joke taken too far, saying that Faforiji does not have the power that he arrogated to himself as chairman of PDP in Osun.
