The All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate Mr Godwin Obaseki, has been sworn in as he new Governor of Edo state.
Obaseki had defeated his arch rival in the Governorship election, Pastor Ize Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) among other candidates.
He was sworn-in by the Chief Judge of Edo State alongside his Deputy, Mr. Phillip Shuaibu at an event which took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium and hosted many political bigwigs in the country.
