Yoruba leader Ajayi dies at 91

He died at the early hours of Friday, November 4, 2016 at an undisclosed hospital. In the interview yet to be released by the Nigerian Tribune, the late Ajayi further talked about a pact between the northern part of the country and some people based in the United States and Britain.



The late Ajayi reportedly complained about pains on Thursday afternoon and was taken to Lagos by his eldest son, Dr Konyin Ajayi.

He was said to have died hours later. Sir Olaniwun Ajayi was born in Isara Remo, Ogun state on April 8, 1925, to the family of Mr Benjamin Awoyemi Ajayi, a farmer and Marian Efundolamu Ajayi.
