Dropped!! Costa's Head Turn By Big Money Offer From China

Premier League topscorer Diego Costa will not be involved for Chelsea against Leicester City today as his head hasn't been in the right place since he received a massive offer from an undisclosed club in the Chinese Super League.

The 28-year-old who has been key to the Blues fantastic run so far in the Premier League hasn't trained for three days as he tries to force an immediate exit from Stamford Bridge.

According to reports on Skysports, Costa has been offered a mouthwatering £30m-per-year contract which will see him earn 576,000-per-week.

However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is not ready to sell the unsettled striker who has two-and-a-half year left on his current deal but the Spaniard is trying to force a move by picking fights with two of the Blues fitness trainers and manager Antonio Conte who in-turn dropped him for today's game against Leicester.

"This is the very last thing Chelsea need. He is playing out of his skin. They lose him and all of a sudden they are not going to win the Premier League," former Liverpool manager Graeme Souness said.

"If sense prevailed, maybe he could stay until the end of the season. There has to be a way around this where everybody can be happy."

Costa moved to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid  in 2014 for £32m and has scored 50 goals for the Blues in all competitions - he is currently the topscorer in the Premier League with 14 goals.
