Edo people no longer have confidence in Oshiomhole – Delta PDP

Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has condemned the leadership style of Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, saying the governor has lost the confidence of the people of the state .

The state PDP, while lambasting Oshiomhole, urged him to take a cue from Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa’s style of administration.
According to the state PDP, Governor Okowa, through his agenda has widely been accepted by the people. The party in a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, condemned Oshiomhole’s leadership style.
Oshiomhole, according to Osuoza, has due to his bad leadership style lost the confidence reposed in him by the people at the inception of his government hence charged him to follow in the footsteps of Okowa.
Exonerating Governor Okowa from allegation of harbouring militants, the state Publicity Secretary said: “Let us state categorically that as a peace-loving state, we neither harbour militants and we most certainly do not export militants. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is too sophisticated, responsible and strategically astute to engage in the crude and reductionist ploy of moving people around for the purpose of election. Nigeria has even grown beyond that pedestrian strategy,” he concludedHe said: “Oshiomhole is thus best advised, in case he gets another leadership opportunity in future, to humbly seek leadership tutorials from Governor Okowa on how to manage a diverse and complex ethnocultural economy, create jobs for the teeming youth population, pay salaries regularly to workers, even in the face of harsh financial realities, build quality and enduring infrastructure like schools, roads, bridges spread evenly across the three senatorial zones in the state, formulate and initiate progressive developmental policies for effective and collective sectoral growth and indeed ensure prosperity for his people, asGovernor Okowa is doing for Deltans, through his well-articulated S.M.A.R.T Agenda in Delta State.
