Justin Bieber is a Canadian-born teen pop star turned Hollywood bad boy who recently has tried to make a comeback with both his music and his image.

 

Bieber was discovered by current manager Scooter Braun andUsher, who helped him put out his first single “One Time” when he was just 16. Bieber quickly won his way into the hearts of pre-teen girls across the U.S. with his first debut album, “My World 2.0,” and his biopic

“Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.” Later, he dropped his third studio album, “Believe” featuring Top 40 favorite “Boyfriend.”

In 2015, Bieber released his first album in three years, titled “Purpose.” The album, featuring the likes of hip-hop’s Travi$ Scott,Big Sean, Skrillex and Diplo, is a clear departure from Bieber’s bubblegum pop sound. He won his first Grammy in 2016 for his collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo. 

Bieber’s image has done a 180, along with his music. The seemingly innocent teen quickly got a reputation as a trouble-maker after his break-up with long-time girlfriend Selena Gomez. He had a series of run-ins with the law, including egging a neighbor’s house, a DUI, reckless driving, public urination, and alleged assault.

Since 2014, Bieber has stayed out of the legal system but remains very much in the public eye. In the fall of 2015, he was photographed swimming naked in Bora Bora, photos first obtained exclusively by the Daily News.
