The Ogun State Police Command has arrested one Oluwatosin Akorede who was alleged to be in possession of two human skulls.
The suspect was said to have been arrested at Isale Oko area of Sagamu on Sunday, October 2, at about 7pm.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested by a police patrol team led by the Divisional Police Officer, Moses Aduroja, that was on routine patrol of the area.
Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said the suspect, who is said to be working in a cemetery situated along Ayepe Road, Sagamu, “is currently undergoing interrogation with the view to unraveling the motive behind his action.”
He said the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has directed that the suspect be transferred to the command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta for further investigation.
