Chelsea playmaker Oscar looks set to leave Stamford Bridge for André Villas-Boas’ Shanghai SIPG in an astonishing £52million deal in January, according to widespread reports.
The 25-year-old has started just five league games under Antonio Conte and the Italian’s willing to let the Brazil international leave the club.
Chelsea turned down a huge bid from Guangzhou Evergrande in the summer but Conte appears to have lost patience with the midfielder given the form of Eden Hazard and Willian.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea couldn’t resist the Chinese side’s mega bid and have agreed to let Oscar join Shanghai in the January window.
The Blues paid £25million for the former Internacional in 2012 and stand to make around £27m profit on the Brazilian.
Oscar will be joining former Chelsea boss Villas-Boas in China, alongside international team-mate Hulk.
Oscar’s departure will be Chelsea’s record sale, beating the previous record held by David Luiz who joined Paris Saint-Germain for £40m.
